Finding a reliable, budget-friendly USB mouse can be a challenge, especially when you're looking for something that's both functional and durable. Enter the M27 Wired USB Optical Mouse, priced at an astonishing ₹129. But does it deliver on its promises of quality, performance, and comfort? Let's find out!
The M27 Wired USB Optical Mouse packs a surprising amount of functionality for its price. Here's a closer look at its standout features:
- Plug & Play: True to its promise, the mouse is ready to go right out of the box. No drivers, no setup—just plug the USB cable into your device, and you’re good to go. It's compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chromebooks, making it versatile for a range of users. Reviewers appreciated how easy and hassle-free it was to start using the device.
- 1000 DPI Optical Tracking: Customers have praised the smooth and accurate cursor movement. Whether you're working on spreadsheets, browsing the web, or attending online classes, the optical tracking gets the job done. One user noted, "Cursor also feels smooth," adding to its credibility.
- Ergonomic Lightweight Design: Weighing just 75 grams, the contoured body fits comfortably in both left and right hands. It's perfect for long work sessions, with low-noise click buttons that reduce fatigue. The subtle LED light adds a modern touch, though one review mentioned the RGB isn’t static and keeps changing colors.
- Durable USB Cable: The 1.1-meter PVC-insulated cable strikes a balance between length and manageability. However, not everyone was satisfied with the cable length, as one reviewer mentioned it's too short for desktop users.
- Affordable & Backed by Warranty: At ₹129, the value is undeniable. Plus, you get the reassurance of a 1-year warranty, making it a risk-free purchase for students, professionals, and casual users alike.
The Reality Check
No product is perfect, and the M27 Wired USB Optical Mouse has its share of limitations:
- Short Cable Length: While the 1.1-meter cable is fine for laptops, it may fall short for desktop setups. One reviewer called this out specifically, saying, "Only good if you are using with laptop."
- Durability Concerns: A few users reported issues with the buttons over time. For instance, one reviewer complained about the right-click malfunctioning, resulting in double-clicks instead of single clicks.
- RGB Limitations: The LED lighting is not static, which might be a dealbreaker for users who prefer a consistent aesthetic. While this may not affect performance, it’s worth noting if looks matter to you.
